Avalanche education is very important to me. That's why in 2013 I co-founded SAFE AS Clinics along with fellow professional skiers, Elyse Saugstad, Ingrid Backstrom, Michelle Parker and guide Lel Tone. We wanted to create an environment that was supportive for women. That way we could give them a voice and the knowledge they need to stay safe in the mountains. Since our first clinic at Squaw Valley we've reached over 600 women, donated over 24,000 USD to local non-profits and awarded over 30 scholarships to those that need a little help joining us.
